Impact of subway shield tunnel construction on deformation of existing utility tunnel

In recent years, the development of urban underground space in China, especially construction and operation subway tunnels, has greatly relieved pressure traffic. Due to imperfect planning facility, many tunnels have be built under existing utility (pipe galleries). Nevertheless, shield tunnel a great adverse impact on deformation safety pipe gallery. Therefore, this paper takes Xi’an Metro Line 2 as an example, studies depth for different regional conditions through numerical simulation. The results show that gallery its influence range decrease with rising buried double-line when soil properties are good. For loess tableland area, is greater than 12 m, settlement basically meets control standard. When poor or vary greatly, excavation first-level alluvial fan area sand layer, less 24 m more standard cannot satisfied. addition, lower layer should treated parameters optimized before tunnel. research can provide reference similar engineering construction.
